If you are on a dial-up connection, you may not be able to play the video due to the amount of bandwidth normally required to play video on a computer.
If you are on a dial-up connection and you are downloading an MP3 audio file of a lecture, it may take hours to download the entire file. However, you should be able to play the audio satisfactorily.
The MP4 video plays in either Apples's free QuickTime player or Apple's free iTunes: download QuickTime | download iTunes
On a PC or Mac, click the MP4 link on the previous page and it should open and play in whatever player you have set to play MP4 videos, e.g., QuickTime or iTunes. You may be prompted to play it in Windows Media Player or Real Player. If these players are unable to play the file, download and install either QuickTime or iTunes.
